The Met Office had issued a weather warning for the thunderstorm on Tuesday afternoon, which brought heavy rain, leading to flash flooding on some streets, as well as the lightning.

The lightning is not believed to have caused any major damage or disruption in the area.

Thankfully, after a cold start to the summer, the weather is starting to improve.
