Weather forecasters have warned Derbyshire folk to brace themselves for snow to start the new working week.
The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ snow alert between 12.05am and 11.55pm on Monday.
Up to 10cm of snow is expected in the highest parts of Derbyshire.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Frequent hail, sleet and snow showers are expected. The public should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel and for hazardous driving conditions at times.”
