Mansfield Road Sheffield: Tragedy as 22-year-old dies in fatal collision involving motorcycle and car

A 22-year-old man has sadly died after a crash involving a car and motorcycle in Sheffield, South Yorkshire Police have confirmed.

Officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Mansfield Road at around 12.10pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

It is reported a black Ford Kuga and a blue Suzuki SV660 were involved in a collision at the junction with Hollybank Road and Hollinsend Road.

Sadly, a 22-year-old man died at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

South Yorkshire Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision or any motorists in the area around the time of the incident with dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward.
