Australian scrum-half Jordie Hedges, whose half-back pairing with Jordan Howden is considered key to the club’s hopes, was handed a six-match ban by the RFL’s disciplinary panel this week.
Hedges was sin-binned for the tackle in the iPro Sports Cup first round defeat at Keighley – during which time the home side scored three tries to establish a match-winning lead.
