A man is due at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today accused of a spate of shop robberies across the city.
Wesley Glover, aged 29, of no fixed abode, is accused of raiding three Co-ops in Sheffield and one in Barnsley between Friday, July 17 and Sunday, July 26.
It is alleged that shop workers were threatened with either a syringe or a knife before cash or spirits were stolen.
Wesley, of no fixed abode, was arrested after the latest raid in Shiregreen, Sheffield, on Sunday.
