Police are currently at the scene of a reported shooting on a street in Sheffield with residents hearing a ‘loud bang’ on Monday night.

Residents in the Berners Road and Villiers Close area of Arbourthorne said police cars, vans, detectives and CID officers arrived on the estate yesterday evening.

Details have not yet been released by South Yorkshire Police, but the force confirmed that officers were deployed to the estate.
