Steven Race, from Hyde Park remembered his days at Wybourn School. He said Mr Jenkins was the funniest teacher that they had. He added: "He always made us laugh, every time we went in. He was jolly all the time."

Beverley Lynch, who went to Arbourthorne Juniors and Hurlfield Girls, said it may have been been the gym teacher, Miss Cherry. "She wasn't too bad," she added.
