Rotherham Titans' board have apologised to fans following the embarrassing administration blunder which resulted in the docking of four league points because the club chose a player whose registration had run out.
South African flanker Barry Jacobsz came on as a replacement in the National One games last month against Leeds and Esher although he was no longer registered with the RFU.

Rotherham were warned by e-mail in July that Jacobsz's registration would expire on September 18 yet he was still picked.

How and when was this apology to the Titans' fans given?!
If you check out the Titans fans forum (the only communications vehicle open to Titans fans since the official website has banned correspondence!!) there are a lot of very disgruntled supporters who have been poleaxed by the Jacobsz scandal.
The Titans do themselves no favours on the PR front - thanks god they've got a half decent playing squad this year.
