Big field expected for Barnsley road race
Barnsley Athletics Club organise their popular Ward Green 6 mile road race on Sunday with a big field expected.
Young Barnsley AC runner Scott Nutter was first home last year beating some well established senior runners and will be out to defend his title.
Women’s winner last year was Julie Briscoe (Wakefield) who beat Rotherham’s Fiona Davies.
The race starts at 11am and organisers are accepting entries on the day.
