Football data site Transfermrkt have compiled an alternative table for the current Championship campaign, which removes all goals from English players from the results. Here's a look at how it affects Sheffield Wednesday's league standing
1. Barnsley: 24th
Not much change for the Tykes here, who are still marooned at the bottom of the table. They are, however, eight points worse off without goals from the likes of Cauley Woodrow. (Photo by Nathan Stirk/Getty Images) Photo: Nathan Stirk
2. Luton Town - 23rd
So far, still the same. The hapless Hatters are no better or worse off in terms of league position. They drop five points, and their goals difference takes a -8 hit too. (Photo by Dan Mullan/Getty Images) Photo: Dan Mullan
3. Blackburn Rovers - 22nd
With Adam Armstrong and Bradley Dack's goal wiped out, Tony Mowbray's side plumett 12 places, losing 19 points in the process. Crikey! (Photo by Nathan Stirk/Getty Images) Photo: Nathan Stirk
4. QPR - 21st
Another big drop here, as the Hoops slip six places. England U21 ace Eberechi Eze has been their main man, and wiping out his 12 goals has left his side in ruins. (Photo by Alex Pantling/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Pantling
