We’re pleased with how they have integrated so far, some of the players are local, others in digs, and we’ve had over a week of good work with them.
“Now we look forward to helping them develop as players – they know it’s a demanding programme and the hard work starts here. They now have a huge opportunity to develop as players and people at Sheffield Wednesday.”
After returning at Stage 1, they stepped into stage two this week, meaning that the youngsters can finally train as a group again, with contact, as they step up their preparations.
All of the new recruits will be eager to feature on Friday morning as the club’s U18s face Rotherham United in a behind-closed-doors training game against Rotherham United at Sheffield Hallam.
