Praise for ‘brilliant’ Garry Monk from Sheffield Wednesday attacker, Josh Windass
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Owls suffered their first major setback of the season over the weekend as they were beaten 2-0 by an in-form Bristol City, however things could’ve been so much different had they made their dominance count in an impressive first half display.
Windass, who could’ve had a goal or two himself at Ashton Gate, says that they won’t let the loss get to them, speaking of how Monk has brought about a difference in attitude this season.

“The gaffer’s been brilliant, and his new coaching staff, we just need to take his information on more and do better on the pitch.”
“Over a period of time the gaffer has embedded his style into the lads, and that’s not just playing style, it’s the attitude and commitment and stuff around the training ground off the pitch.
“All the lads have bought into it, they’re all really together and really believe in what he’s doing… That’s what you want as a manager, I guess, for them to believe in what you’re doing. Because if they don’t then you’re going to come unstuck.”
