A whole host of big names left the club last summer for pastures new; to Serie A, to non-league and to Cyprus. Some have prospered, some have had really bad times of it. One has even made a shock return to S6.
Let’s take a look at how they’ve got on since leaving Wednesday..
13. Kieran Lee
There's a response on social media whenever Kieran Lee contributes to Bolton Wanderers' goal tally that shows just what he still means to Sheffield Wednesday fans. He signed in January and has been in stellar form, scoring once in 14 appearances including an ongoing run of nine consecutive starts. The 32-year-old has a new lease of life in him. 14. Paul Jones
The mysterious case of Paul Jones at Sheffield Wednesday came to an end in the summer. Brought in to act as third choice keeper while Joe Wildsmith recovered from a knee injury, he failed to make an appearance for the club. He's not signed on elsewhere as it stands, though there is no word of a retirement for the 34-year-old. Photo: Pete Norton
15. Morgan Fox
Fox joined Fletcher at Stoke in the summer and has done well in fits and starts, jumping from left back to the left side of a back three. He has three assists in 22 appearances but has played in only three of their last 20 matches as a hamstring injury has taken hold of his season. Photo: Nathan Stirk
16. Atdhe Nuhiu
The ultimate cult hero. Nuhiu moved to Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia on a free transfer and has a mixed time of it, scoring only once. Usually one of the nation's football giants, APOEL sacked Mick McCarthy in January and had to play in a round of relegation play-offs, which they have come through unbeaten so far. He hasn't started a game since January. Photo: James Chance
