New Owls boss Tony Pulis has sought to strengthen and protect his backline since taking charge of Wednesday last month and although he has yet to taste victory, the former Middlesbrough, WBA and Stoke manager has at least made his team tough to beat.
The Terriers form’ has been patchy of late but they do score a decent amount of goals, with five of the teams above them registering fewer than their 20 so far and league leaders Norwich have struck just one more than that.

“They have changed their style a little bit; they are very strong and very solid in defence, that’s clearly a big focus for them," he said ahead of tonight’s match at the John Smith’s Stadium.
“The team is also now very dangerous with the counter-attack.

“They’ve proven that they’re not an easy team to score against, and if they didn’t have a points deduction they wouldn’t be at the bottom of the table.
“We watched their game against Norwich, and they were winning up until the final 10 minutes. We know it’ll be a high challenge for the team.”
