Hammill signs new deal at Barnsley FC

Barnsley have been boosted by the news that fans’ favoruite Adam Hammill has signed a contract extension with the club.

The former Liverpool midfielder has put pen paper on a new contract which will keep him at Oakwell until 30 June.

Hammill initially signed a short-term deal until January, but his performances have warranted a longer stay in South Yorkshire.

“We’re delighted to have secured Adam’s services until the end of the season,” reflected Reds head coach Lee Johnson.

“It’s clear Adam is passionate about this club – he’s committed to the cause.”
