Doncaster Rovers to face Armthorpe Welfare & Tadcaster Albion in pre-season and go to Scotland for training camp
Darren Ferguson’s squad will also spend time at a training camp in Scotland, like they did last year.
Rovers will open their pre-season campaign with the annual community fixture, which will take place at Armthorpe on Tuesday, July 11 (7.30pm).

Hide AdThe game will come as a big boost to Welfare who were relegated from the Northern Counties East League Premier Division for the first time in their history last season.
Rovers last sent a first team to Church Street in 2011. A Doncaster Development XI won 4-0 there two years ago.
They will go to Evo-Stik League First Division North outfit Tadcaster on Saturday, July 15 (3pm).
The first team squad will also spend five days based at St Andrews University in Scotland for a training camp prior to the opening friendly.

Hide AdRovers also welcome Championship side Derby County to the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday, July 18 (7.45pm).
Derby also face Port Vale on the same night but Rovers say they have had assurances that Gary Rowett will bring his first team to the Keepmoat Stadium.
The 2017/18 season will commence on Saturday, August 5.
The EFL’s fixtures will be announced on Wednesday, June 21.
