Chesterfield skipper Peter Leven has joined promoted Milton Keynes Dons on a one-year deal.
The ex-Rangers and Kilmarnock man, who was a £100,000 target of Brighton in the January transfer window, has teamed up with the new League One side after rejecting the opportunity to remain at Saltergate.
Leven, aged 24, was a regular in midfield in his one season with Spireites, generally operating centrally but he also put in several appearances on the left.
