VETERAN striker Steve Fletcher, who turned down the offer of a further year with Chesterfield to move closer to his South Coast home, has joined Conference side Crawley Town, managed by former Boston United boss Steve Evans.
Brighton's new manager Mickey Adams is unlikely to pursue Peter Leven any further. The Scottish midfielder was wanted by Brighton in January when Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson turned down a £100,000 offer for him. Leven has indicated he's not likely to re-sign for Chesterfield.
