AN OUTSTANDING Rotherham school is celebrating after it was praised by government inspectors.
Thorpe Hesley Infants was described by Ofsted as a "happy" place, much valued by pupils and their parents.
Parents were positive and said they "felt lucky" their children were pupils there.
Outstanding teaching and learning contributed to the excellent progress of pupils, with high standards in English, maths and science.
The report said: "Pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development was also outstanding. Pupils think and reflect; respect and value people from different faiths and cultures ."
