A SPECIAL school in Rotherham has launched a fundraising appeal to buy state-of-the-art trikes for its pupils.
Kelford School at Kimberworth - which holds a Summer Fair tomorrow from 11am to 2pm - caters for pupils aged two to 19 with severe learning difficulties or complex needs.

Pupils will use the trikes in PE lessons and during breaks to help them gain confidence. The school has already bought several trikes, but they have been such a huge success more are now needed.

Headteacher Nick Whittaker said: "To see the faces of each pupil when they play on these bikes is just fantastic. We want to make sure each child can benefit from them, and ensure we have enough to go around."

For more information call Helen Speight on 01709 512 088.
