Woman arrested on drugs charge in connection with death of inmate at Doncaster prison
Inmate at HM Prison Lindholme Daniel Stokes died on November 30, of a suspected drugs death.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire police told the Free Press: "Police are investigating a suspected drugs death of a 34-year-old man at HM Prison Lindholme on Monday, 30 November. "A 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries."

Hide AdCommenting on the incident, a Prison Service spokesperson said: "Paramedics were called to HMP Lindholme to treat prisoner Daniel Stokes on Monday 30 November. Staff attempted CPR but he was pronounced dead at 8.05pm.
"As a police investigation is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage."
South Yorkshire police and the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman are both carrying out separate investigations into Stokes' death that will run alongside each other.
