Windsor Castle The Queen's - and our - fave
The Berkshire building is believed to be the Queen's favourite home, it was where the monarch chose to celebrate her 90th birthday in April.
Windsor was followed by Bodiam Castle, with Edinburgh Castle in third place, just ahead of Warwick Castle

The 11th century Dover Castle also figured, coming fifth. Nicknamed the "Key to England" due to its defensive significance throughout the centuries,. It is the largest castle in England.
