VIDEO: Gleadless axe attack hero tells how he saved police officer's life
Heroic Simon Ellis told of how he saved the life of a police officer who was being attacked by a man with an axe in Gleadless Valley.
He said: “She was on the floor with her baton up, pleading with somebody to help her and stop him hurting her."
