More contenders have emerged in the fiercely fought competition to be named Sheffield’s worst parker.

It’s hard to believe these cars, one spotted tight against a wall and another in a cycle lane, were parked rather than having crashed or broken down.

But that was the case and the drivers all picked up fines following the latest crackdown by police in Nether Edge and Sharrow.

The area has become a bad parking hotspot, with numerous fixed penalty notices issued as officers try to stamp out the problem.
