Angela Heath and Peter Devoti submitted an application to Sheffield City Council to sell ice cream, lollipops and soft drinks from a traditional style ice cream van at the top of Howard Street in the city centre.
In their application they said their preferred times of sale would be Monday to Sunday between 10am and 6pm.

Steve Cooper, city centre resources manager, said in an email provided with a council report on the application, that Devonshire Green might be a better location.
The council’s sub licensing committee is due to make a decision whether to grant or refuse the licence on Tuesday, July 21 in a virtual public meeting starting from 2pm.
