"Some of the staff over the years had said they could feel something in certain parts of the building, so I researched it, and found that a lady drowned in the baths in 1906, Florrie Baxter, and so affectionately now anything that moves or changes, we blame Florrie for it."
Steven bought the old Turkish Baths building from Sheffield Council on a 150-year-lease back in 2000, and after nearly 15 years in business as Spa 1877, on Victoria Street, Steven has put the property back on the market.

Offers are invited above £695,000 for the landmark SPA 1877 Victorian building on Victoria Street in what agents Mark Jenkinson and Son describe as a ‘one-off opportunity to buy a one-off building.'
