One of the organisers, Kathy Markwick said they have so far raised £1,050 to reach their target of £7,500 since the campaign was launched two weeks ago.
She said: "The inaugural 'Just for Tobias' event was a huge success and to date, we have raised an incredible £1,050.

Tobias Weller, who is famously known as 'Captain Tobias' had made headlines months ago for raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.
In the latest campaign, a virtual concert by local duo Stevie Moore and Patricia Lynn will be held on their Facebook pages for an hour on November 29 at 2pm.
"Tobias celebrated his 10th birthday earlier this week so the event will also be a belated party for him," she said.

Hide AdTobias, who has cerebral palsy and autism, had raised a total of £150,000 for Sheffield Children's Hospital and the Paces special school that he attends by walking two marathons last August.
And Tobias still continues his marathons to raise even more money, said Kathy.
She added: "We therefore believe £7,500 is minuscule compared to the amount of money he has raised for these two wonderful charities and a specially adapted car seat will make a huge difference to Tobias and his mum."
