Five generations of Sheffield family gather to celebrate new arrival
The seven-week-old is the latest addition to the Martin family which begins with Margaret Martin, 93, who was born and raised in the Longley area.
The line then carries on through Margaret’s son John Martin, 69; granddaughter Helen Scott, 41; great-granddaughter Chloe Spencer, 21; and now Ollie, born on October 22.

Margaret married fellow Sheffielder James Kenneth Martin – also known as Ken – in 1948 and worked in the Sheffield Corporation Estates Department after World War Two.
The couple later moved to Leek, in North Staffordshire, where Margaret still resides.
John, the eldest of the pair’s four sons, returned to Sheffield in 1972 before moving to The Brecks, Rotherham, over a decade later.

Chloe, also from the Orkney isles, has just qualified as a nurse at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and is due to start work at The Balfour Hospital, in Kirkwall, in the New Year.
Helen, Chloe and newborn Ollie made the 500-mile trip south for the family get together last month.
John added: “Mum is quite frail so we managed to bring her over and the other three made the trip from Orkney for the sole purpose of a get together for the family. It was nice to get us all together and was something we’d been planning for a while.
