Hundreds of South Yorkshire homes and businesses hit by power cuts
Hundreds of homes and businesses across South Yorkshire have faced power cuts today caused by high winds.
Northern Powergrid engineers have been called out to several areas with Ecclesfield, Tankersley, Hillsborough and Bentley the worst affected areas.
The company said the power cuts have been caused by problems with 'underground cables' and 'overhead power lines'.
