Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences after police raided homes in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police said the men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested after officers executed a warrant at two properties on Albert Road in Heeley on Wednesday, April 22.

“They have since been bailed as enquiries continue,” added a spokeswoman for the force.

Residents in the area had reported seeing a ‘big police presence’, including police dogs and a police helicopter circling overhead.
