Street near Sheffield sealed off after reported stabbing as forensic experts arrive at scene

Westthorpe Road in Killamarsh is blocked off and under police guard this morning, with Derbyshire Constabulary revealing that officers are investigating a ‘serious assault’.
The force said officers were deployed to a disturbance at a house at around 10pm.

Hide AdAn injured man was then found at the junction of Westthorpe Road and Upperthorpe Road.
A white tent has been erected in the street as forensic work is carried out.
It is rumoured that a man was stabbed as violence flared.
A police statement reads: “Police were called to Westthorpe Road at about 10pm after reports of a disturbance at a house.
“A man was then found injured near the junction of Westthorpe Road and Upperthorpe Road and was treated by paramedics, before being taken to hospital.
