A man has been arrested after police raided a house on a South Yorkshire residential street.

Officers from Rotherham Central neighbourhood policing team carried out the operation after getting a warrant from magistrates, and went into the property on Lindley Street, in Eastwood.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman: “We've been out and about as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week and made an arrest and seized some suspected cannabis. We'll be carrying out a number of operations this week and taking action on your concerns.”
