Full search of Chesterfield building after reports of fire

A roof crawler and ladders were used by firefighters to search a Baslow business after a chimney fire broke out.

This morning, Saturday at 11.40am firefighters from Chesterfield were called out to Nether End.

A Derbyshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “We attended a report of a chimney fire at a business at Nether End, Baslow.

A full internal and external search was made using ladders and roof crawler. Crews confirmed the fire was out on arrival.”
