This ‘handsome fellow’ is Logan, and he is looking for a new family to take care of him.

Logan, who is two-years-old, has been cared for by staff at RSPCA Sheffield since August but he is now looking for a new forever home.

When he was taken in to the centre, based at 2 Stadium Way, he was a stay cat and had a wound on his inner thigh which caused an infection, and unfortunately he had to have his leg amputated.

However, he has now been nursed back to health by staff at the RSPCA centre and is hoping to find someone to take care of him.

Adam Spencer, of RSPCA Sheffield, said: “After rest and lots of antibiotics to kick the awful infection, Logan recovered but not out of the woods yet, he also suffered some tummy troubles which also needed some treatment and special food to help him to get well.

“We are thrilled that Logan is finally ready to find his new home.”

Adam, who described Logan as a ‘handsome fellow’, added that he extremely friendly and affectionate boy, he likes handling to be on his terms.

He said: “He can quickly become overstimulated and give the odd slap or nip when he is feeling this way.

“He’s a very clever boy and needs lots of mental stimulation to keep his active mind busy, he loves to play with his toys, explore and have adventures.”
