A teenager had a day to forget this weekend after deciding to take his mum's car out for a spin across Sheffield.

Most teenagers can't wait for the day they can finally get behind the wheel and start their driving lessons.

For some, this day comes near or around their 17th birthday when teenagers are legally allowed to start preparing for their practical test.
