GREEN fingered gardening enthusiasts are invited to take a peek over the fence at the Totley Open Gardens event next weekend.
Fourteen gardens and allotments will open to the public featuring everything from woodland to vegetables. Cream teas and plants will be on sale in some.

Programmes costing £4 - which are needed for admission - are available in advance from Totley Library and outside the Equestrian Stablemate Shop at 170 Baslow Road over the weekend of July 12 and 13.

All proceeds will go to Transport 17, a Sheffield charity which organises transport for pensioners.
