A TALKING books society from Chesterfield is set to make history - with a recording of its members' own experiences.
A group of 23 visually impaired people gather to discuss audio books at Chesterfield Library in what is believed to be the first society of its kind, set up in 2000.

Now they are to be trained in oral history gathering methods, including interviewing techniques and editing, to help them compile an audio history of their own group.
