18-year-old woman in intensive care after South Yorkshire road collision

An 18-year-old woman is in intensive care after she was hit by a car in South Yorkshire.

The incident happened yesterday (Saturday, December 15) around 4.30pm on Wood Street in Doncaster town centre.

The woman was transferred to Northern General Hospital and is currently in intensive care.

The road was closed for a number of hours while accident investigators completed their work.
