ROTHERHAM United chairman Tony Stewart will meet the club's fans for the first time tonight and he is set to outline his vision for the future.
He will share the platform with manager Mark Robins in a Fans' Forum organised by supporters group Millers Trust and held at the Liquid/Diva nightclub at Masbrough (7.30).
Stewart, whose rescue of the club began in the final days of last season and unfolded through the trauma of clearing administration, said he was looking forward to giving fans his ideas on taking the club forward.
"This club has had 18 months of turmoil and now we all want to see it turned round and start heading in the right direction," said Stewart, head of Parkgate-based lighting company ASD Lighting.
"I want to give this club direction and to run it as a successful business and we are looking at a four-year plan not a two minute plan.
"Rotherham United was fragmented, you could see the divisions where departments were not working with each other, there was no structure. My aim is to have a structure in place and for the various departments and components that make up the club, to all be working in harmony and all pulling together in the same direction.
"We want some stability and we want to bring hope to our fans - hope that, after what they have gone through, there is a brighter future, a genuinely brighter future.
"The fans have been tremendous these last few months and I want more people in Rother-ham to back their football club, to really buy into what we are aiming to achieve here.
"From a difficult situation, Mark Robins has got the team playing some attractive football and getting results and we are all behind him and his squad."
Stewart - who says he wants to take questions 'blind' from the audience rather than have some already prepared - will outline the latest on the new stadium proposals. He also said he had heard the rumours about a return to Millmoor but squashed them adding: "We moved on and are looking for better things."
