The pair, who make their bespoke clothes under their namesake brand House of Sheldonhall in Hillsborough, have showcased one of their collections at ONOFF London, a platform dedicated to showcasing emerging fashion talent.
Steven said: “We’ve been chasing the dream of showing at London Fashion week since forever. It’s not something you can just get up and do, it takes tones of patience and self-promotion and networking. We we’re so pleased to be selected by Lee Lapthorne to show at ONOFF London as part of London Fashion Week.”

Steven said: “We decided to present a collection based on our love of London as a creative hub and our roots as British designers and crafts people. We chose to make our collection as ecologically friendly as possible by using roll ends and dead stock.”
This may have been the first time that Steven and Emma, who are both aged 35, have seen their work on the runway of one of the world’s fashion capitals, but it is not the first time they have seen them on fashion icons.
They have previously had pieces requested by the likes of British Vogue, Elle, Tatler and Lady Gaga. While the duo are obviously proud of their success – and rightly so – they do remain grounded.

“You spend months and months preparing, sewing, creating, and then its over in minutes. After wards we were quite… meh about it all, because it really is over so quick.
“There’s a void from where you’ve been so busy and excited to just, oh it’s done. Now what’s next?”
What is next indeed for Emma and Steven? They say their next collection will focus on pieces that are more customer focused so they can appeal to the buyers in the high fashion market, so keep your eye on them.
