Homebuilder provides Sheffield Children's Hospital with books
The developer has made these contributions in support of the nationwide initiative, which aims to encourage more children to enjoy reading.
Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “As a responsible homebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our developments, and World Book Day is a fantastic opportunity to help schools and local organisations encourage young children to explore the pleasure of books.”

Taylor Wimpey has provided Leeds Children’s Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital with a wide selection of reading material for their patients to enjoy in their time of need.
The developer has also donated to schools up and down the region, including Dodworth St John’s CE Primary Academy and Elsecar Holy Trinity CE Primary Academy.
Anne concludes: “World Book Day celebrates children putting their iPads and PlayStations away to engage with materials that not only support their development, but also stimulate their brains.

“We hope the children enjoy their new selection of books and that this initiative will encourage them to develop a real passion for reading!”
