Manager and chef Chris Kamolli has built up a loyal customer base since opening the premises on Langsett Road in 2021. Now he’s keen to consolidate its position as an important part of the community and showcase what the 2nd Girlfriend has to offer.

With dishes ranging from freshly caught monkfish to Greek-inspired meatballs, the welcoming venue offers food for all palates and various budgets, sourced as locally as possible. Along with a tempting range of pizza and pasta dishes, seafood is a speciality and there are also lots of vegetarian options available.

Chris explained: “The discount on Tuesdays and Wednesdays means that people can try one of our pizzas for around £8 or a pasta dish for about £10. Every main meal and starter is included so you can even get a steak for around £18 which is a great price and makes a meal out more affordable when everyone is struggling with the high cost of living.”

The restaurant is also a big supporter of local food producers and retailers and Chris can regularly be seen buying vegetables from Sheffield market as early as 6am. His fresh fish comes from Castle Market and meat is from the local butchers.
