WE are told the 12 Area Panels are to receive £50,000 each to spend as they wish. Bearing in mind these panels are council- and councillor-run, there is no tenant or house-owner living in the said area who can be on board.
We hoped this new council would open up these quango-type meetings that are all officer-led to members of the public and not just selective members.

In Sheffield, there are so many grants to so many groups, yet no-one is accountable to check authe
nticity, receipts, suppliers' expenses etc. It appears a lot like the present government. Come on, Coun Scriven, you have some very clever councillors in your group, let someone have the pleasure of keeping an eye on our money.

The lack of accountability is deliberate.
Money is fraudulently acquired then unlawfully disbursed.
The groups that get the money falsely claim representation, draw down the money, then spend it on a central, pre-set agenda.
Those involved in this scam enrich themselves, knowing that they can never be outed.
The council is corrupt. The corruption is absolute, lead from the top down, and out of control. Being rotten to the core and from the core, everything it touches it taints. Having neither the ability nor inclination to change, outside intervention is indicated.
Now you know why this council must always be so secretive. As for the 'very clever councillors', among those are the architects of the corruption.
