This is what Sheffield Star readers think about working from home post-lockdown

Our lockdown survey, published across this title and 150 others across the UK last week, gives an insight into how the crisis has impacted people in Sheffield – and what they would like to see happen in the coming weeks and months.
In total, we asked readers 25 questions on their attitude towards the lockdown and of these two focused on how people feel about working from home.

Hide AdThe survey revealed that 36.55 per cent of Star readers said they have had to work from home for the first time or to a much greater extent due to the coronavirus outbreak, 39.09 per cent said they haven’t and 24.36 per cent said the question was not applicable to them.
By comparison, on a national level, 40 per cent answered that they haven’t, 34 per cent said they have and 25 per cent said this question wasn’t applicable.
We also asked to what extent readers of The Star would like to continue working from home - even after restrictions are lifted.
The majority of Star readers (47.76 per cent) who took part in the survey said they would ‘like to work from home some of the time’, 23.38 per cent responded ‘I’d like to work from home most of the time’, 18.66 per cent said ‘I don’t want to work from home at all’ and 7.21 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work entirely from home’.

Hide AdNationally, 43 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work from home some of the time’, 25 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work from home most of the time’, 18 per cent said ‘I don’t want to work from home at all’ and nine per cent answered ‘I’d like to work entirely from home’.
