ONE of RAF Finningley's most famous veterans is back in the skies. A restored Vulcan bomber has been given the all-clear to fly at air shows across the country after a £7 million restoration.
It had earlier been granted a permit to fly by the Civil Aviation Authority, completing a three-year project to make it airworthy again.

It landed at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire and will now take part in the base's international air show.
