Soccer squad lost but achieved their goal

STAFF at Adwick's Wincanton distribution centre achieved their goal when they handed over a cheque for £547.25 to children's charity Bluebell Wood.
The cash was the proceeds from a charity football match against staff from Wincanton's depot in Teesport.

Spokeswoman Christine MacPherson said: "We're very happy to help out such a worthy charity as Bluebell Wood.

"Sadly our team lost the match but we're hoping for revenge in the replay which takes place on August 9."

Proceeds from the second match will also be donated to Bluebell Wood.
