This is when one of the first newly announced post-lockdown music tours is coming to Sheffield
and live on Freeview channel 276
Deacon Blue – the Scottish pop-rock band whose hits include Real Gone Kid and Fergus Sings the Blues – will appear at the City Hall on December 4, 2021.
The group, fronted by singer-songwriter Ricky Ross, are visiting Sheffield as part of their Cities of Love tour which is billed as their biggest-ever UK jaunt, including seven arena shows.

Hide AdThe tour is in support of their latest album, City of Love, which is their fourth release in seven years. Their last three LPs returned the band to the top 20 of the UK album charts, the most recent posting at number 12, giving them their highest charting album in 23 years.
“We're so looking forward to you hearing City of Love and getting out on the road, playing new songs and old songs too,” said Ross.
“Every time we tour now it feels like a celebration because our fans are still there and it's a delight for us. We're planning to make this the best one yet.”
