Pie back on the menu at Sheffield's Silversmiths restaurant
TV chef Gordon Ramsey launched the pie night at Silversmiths as an assault on Sheffield’s pub chains when the restaurant appeared on his ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ show.
Now the new owners of the restaurant he famously transformed have brought it back - with a few surprises of their own. The venue has unveiled a brand new Tuesday evening pie menu cooked up by its head chef, Ashley Bagshaw.

Silversmiths was re-opened a few weeks ago by local businessmen Rick Bailey and Matt Ray.
Ashley Bagshaw said: “I want to make Silversmiths the best eatery in Sheffield – no question. I like to be challenged.
“I love creating something that turns heads.
“But we want to make the restaurant accessible and the pie night was hugely popular so we’ve decided to bring it back.”
