It's fun, fun, fun down on the farm
Young visitors to the annual event at Whirlow Hall Farm met the animals, got the chance to try out milking and enjoyed pony, tractor and trailer rides and a picnic.
The event raised more than 2,000 in ticket sales for the trust, which will help to pay the running costs of the farm, which aims to teach city children to respect animals and understand the environment.

"This is the fourth year we have run the summer fun day and it was one of the best so far.
"We've had such a lot of support from local people - staff from Esporta came down to do some face painting, which raised about 150, and so many local families turned out to support us on the day."
