Hospital staff to strike again
Workers from bulk stores, who deliver disposable medical equipment, staged their first two-day walkout on Monday and yesterday following two one-day strikes.
And they have vowed to keep up the pressure and take action again next week in protest at plans to axe bonuses, leaving some facing pay cuts of up to 3,000 a year.

Hide AdRegional and local representatives from the Unison union spoke at the picket line along with representatives from the TUC.
One staff nurse said: “ in my break and was appalled to learn that if bonuses are taken from the bulk stores workers, the trust stands to save a mere 30,000 per annum – which is apparently less than a quarter of the chief executive's salary.”
